The Story Doula with Dajé Alōh

The Story Doula with Dajé Alōh

Dajé Alōh is a storyteller, emergent strategy facilitator, and earth-based, spirit led visionary leadership coach helping creators pursue the deepest dreams of their heart.

As a Memphis-born, Appalachian-cured storyteller, song-keeper, and essence liberation coach, Dajé is here to support seekers, lovers, crafters, and kin in finding and singing the deep song of their lives. There are new stories, new ways, and new templates for meeting life that long to be born into our collective awareness. To nurture new stories, we must get low and listen. We must turn on the ears of the psyche, and call them forth from the deep. This is her work as a story doula – calling forth true and deep liberation from the collective subconscious and bringing it into the light.

Tarot Wilderness

I love Nick’s expansive approach to the tarot, and the endless curiosity around the edges of what we think we know. I love the wide range of perspectives and approaches covered in his conversations with a diverse array of practitioners. A great source for expanding and decolonizing your tarot practice, or for entering tarot without getting bogged down in rigid tradition.

Hypocrisy x Co-opting Radical Movements

I was sincerely excited to listen to this podcast. My first episode download was The Story Doula. I found it insightful and interesting.

But I’m one of the more recent episodes, one of the hosts explains that they do not feel the need to make a statement on the genocide in Palestine. And that they understand both “points of view”.

You CAN NOT co-opt the language and ideas from radical movements that center Black and Brown liberation while deciding to essentially side with oppressors. Silence and “neutrality” (which there really is no such thing) is neither radical nor liberatory. Instead, it demonstrates your utter hypocrisy and lack of a backbone.

You have a literal podcast with an audience who is engaging in this type of content for a reason.

As a Black queer non-binary listener am not surprised at you upholding white supremacist values. But I can say it was disappointing…

If you are a fellow POC invested in liberation, I highly suggest you find another podcast. This one isn’t it. These hosts are not interested in liberation of oppressed peoples. But they are invested in upholding power structures and exploitation.

Generous, informative, important

What a generous offering we have here with this podcast. I want to thank the creators for the well thought out and researched information. I am just now moving through the episodes about the history of Tarot and they are so good without being overwhelming, considering the massive topic at hand. I appreciate the knowledge shared from multiple perspectives from hosts and guests. And the gentle, potent, and important questioning of traditions and binary thinking that often plague the universe of esoteric and spiritual practices. Au top! 🙌
