Caroline Polachek's deluxe edition of "Desire, I Want to Turn Into You: Everasking Edition" is blowing my mind but we should not be surprised considering she's been working for this for nearly 2 decades! Between the ages of Chairlift, Ramona Lisa, CEP and producing for the likes of Beyonce + Shygirl, collaborating with Grimes, Charli XCX and so many other artists, Caroline Polachek is a story of hope, creative persistence, and the value that comes with keeping your expression true to you ❤️*correction* I realize Ramona Lisa was concurrent with Chairlift, not after the fact

Between needing 5+ years of experience for an entry level role, the perfect corporate social media profile on LinkedIn, and applicant tracking systems, it's important to remember that you aren't alone in the chaos. Your bestie is coquette, I dream of the soft life, your neighbor bought a Stanley cup to replace the Hydroflask. How we present ourselves and determine personal style (if you can even call it that) has become ever expansive to include more items and aspects of everyday life. Though it is not fair by any means, how you dress does matter, at least to the outside world - but we can make the conscious choice to prioritize cultivating our own perspective regardless of whether or not that aligns with our immediate environment, type beat.

social media is officially a public health crisis (but we knew) ! I've been feeling a lot of content fatigue lately and wanted to explore what might be at the end of this endless, overwhelming technicolor road. I feel like content bloat / over saturation is more or less inevitable if not already here especially with A.I. ANYHOW! Loneliness is a big deal! Would love your thoughts!

I've been hearing a lot about main character syndrome, main character energy, the what about me effect, pick me, etc. which I do think can bring about a lot of positive change for people. Though sometimes going so into ourselves we can lose site of all the joy there is in investing in others and also not putting so much pressure on ourselves to have an *exceptional* existence. Also I adore Esther Perel.
