Nikki Edge, PhD, joins us today to break down the science of infant and early childhood mental health, and discusses how clinicians and parents can foster healthy behaviors in children. Dr. Edge is a professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, director of an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation program in Arkansas called Project PLAY, and the director of the Arkansas Trauma Resource Initiative for Schools.
