Pastor Mike finishes our series with Jesus's encounter with the religious leaders.
Specifically the Pharisees and their thoughts on what the Sabbath should be.

This week Pastor Shell preaches on Jesus's encounter with the villagers and disciples, after talking to the Samaritan woman. A powerful message about food for life. When the disciples ask Jesus to eat something, He draws their attention to the spiritual food of harvest. We finish the message with a testimony from long time members of our church; Bev and Ernie.

The woman goes through many stages of her perception of who Jesus is through their conversation.
From strange man, to miracle worker, to prophet and then possibly the Messiah.
Jesus relates to her personally and affirms who He is. We all need the 'living water' of Jesus.

Pastor Mike brings a special Fathers Day message this week. When Philip asks Jesus to show him the Father, Jesus replies with, " Anyone who has seen me, has seen the Father." Jesus has accurately revealed God to us- we can confidently re-shape our understanding of God around Him.

Mani looks at the faith of the friends of the paralysed man. They knew that Jesus could heal their friend, and so they broke through the roof of the house to get to Jesus. Who of our friends needs a person encounter with Jesus? How can we introduce them to Him?

Week three of our encountering Jesus series. This week it's Jesus's encounter with a leper. Pastor Mike shares how much Jesus was able to care for a man who was shunned by society and bring him in to relationship with God and return to relationship with others.
