Hello and welcome!! On this channel, we will explore various topics of importance regarding the inter-testament period. Through open dialogue, visual representation, and a combination of the two, we hope to shed light on common misconceptions and misinterpretations. Many men and women have read religious works such as the Bible, Quran, Toro, and many others for 100's if not thousands of years. With the passing generations, we've seen parts of these historical texts altered and even completed removed. Therefore, it is not only important we revisit the lives of our ancestors to help improve our societies but also to ultimately advance humanity beyond its current limitations.

Welcome to the Inter-testament podcast series. On our first episode, we sit with special guest Elizabeth Moore-McDeavitt and discuss the Jewish sect called "The Essenes". Elizabeth gives us a glimpse into the Essenes day to day lives, societal structure, beliefs, and much more fascinating aspects for this group. There is a lot to unwrap in this episode. As we currently face emerging dangers in the modern age we can look back to the past to see how our ancestors handled similar issues and situations. The Essenes are a great group that stood against the powers at the time and forged a way for enlightenment to be passed down generations after their societies no longer existed. The Essene also set a precedent for moral and ethical behavior by ensuring their communities followed guidelines and rules that supported the community as a whole and not just a few.
