Little peek behind the curtain here: This is Brendon. I usually write these things... but I'm not in this episode! So I don't really know what to put here this time around. I think they talk about Zelda a bit? Maybe some Mario? Can't wait to find out along with you! Regardless: Thanks to Dom Nero for filling in for me this week, thanks to Zant for continually being our muse, and thanks to you dear listener.

Upgrade Your Dwight (feat. Strange Horticulture, SMT4, Splitgate and more)

This ain't your usual out-of-the-box Dwight. No sir, this is a premium Dwight for a premium customer. It's got all the bell's an whistles you'd expect from a Dwight — ambition, strong moral code, encyclopedic knowledge on various topics — but after The Big Upgrade this Dwight has one thing none of the other Dwights around here got: the capacity for normalcy. Yessir, this Dwight's a pleasure to have around. Personable and loyal, a real killer at parties and family functions. So what do ya say, you gonna upgrade your Dwight today?

Somehow simultaneously relaxing and unhinged

Into the Aether is the only podcast that I am literally always in the mood for no matter what. Every episode is a heartfelt love letter to all games past, present and future. Stephen, Brendon and AJ have created a vibe so good that it is often more enjoyable than actually playing video games. Nobody else is capable of producing a 3 hour episode that doesn't overstay its welcome. ITA episodes are the length they need to be. Inject them directly into my veins.

A warm place

I stumbled across this podcast during the early stages of the pandemic and it immediately became a weekly play for me. The hosts make me feel like I am in the conversation with them and reignited my love for gaming. This is the perfect podcast to listen to anywhere anytime. Every episode I listen to feels like it’s the first time I’m hearing it. I’m very thankful that this out there for people to hear.
