Revisiting My Thoughts on Pokémon XY
11 years ago I recorded my initial thoughts on Pokémon XY when it released. Here was the first of that series and my commentary on this episode! I'm honestly shocked how much I got incorrect and just went with back then. This covers up to the first gym and was apart of a 10 part series.
Customer Reviews
Stop the Hate
I scrolled through the reviews and the 1 star reviews were just bad reviews. “Oh, I don’t like Steve because he has opinions that he shares on a podcast that HE runs! I don’t like them being negative about some stuff but I’ll just ignore all the positive opinions! Steve is too gay (yes there was one review that said that)!” It’s just wrong. I personally love the show even when I disagree with the opinions.
Political Pokémon
Use to listen every week but the hosts got very political and woke. To each their own opinion, but I just wanted Pokémon news not your ideology thrown in my face. If you’re woke you’ll like it - if your not… well it’s woke 🤷
Fantastic Family Friendly Pokémon Show!
This show covers all of Pokémon (TCG, main series games, Sleep, anime, PoGo, and even… Van Gogh?). I love the main hosts as well as the special guest hosts when there’s specific PokéNews. Everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly. They can sometimes be critical of certain things with Pokémon, but that gives the podcast balance and shows they’re all true fans of this franchise.
