Jason Lee : Trans healthcare, pioneering marriage equality, & being visible in a dangerous world The Trans Narrative Podcast

    • Society & Culture

On our 100TH EPISODE Caroline and Lusi meet Jason Lee from the uk as they explore gender inclusive healthcare, Jason’s transition, Alzheimer’s, being visible in a dangerous world, and a special throwback clip from the original original first ever episode of the trans narrative podcast.

"Jason Lee, a fully medically transitioned trans man, has overcome a life of hate crimes and transphobia. He realized his male identity at age 5 and began his transition in 2001. Jason has made significant contributions to the trans community, including being the first trans person to legally marry in the UK (2005). He has shared his story on Facebook Live, Pride Radio, and through public speaking engagements. Jason has also led youth initiatives, including The T-Boys Show and LGBTQI+ youth leadership roles. He has found joy in his personal life, getting engaged in 2020 and welcoming his daughter Dakota in 2021. Through his resilience and determination, Jason has become an inspiration to many in the trans community."
