    EP # 106 | A Biblical Exposition of Unity

    EP # 106 | A Biblical Exposition of Unity

Subsequent to the presidential election held in the United States on November 3, 2020, many evangelical leaders, primarily on social media, began exhorting Christians to come together in a spirit of unity around the presumed incoming administration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Notwithstanding that, officially, the outcome of the aforementioned contest had yet to be determined, a fundamental question remains: What kind of unity is acceptable to the church and, more importantly, to God? In their final episode of the 2020 podcast season, Darrell Harrison and Virgil "Omaha" Walker answer that question expositionally—and unequivocally—from Scripture.

EP # 105 | The Doctrine of Elections (Live Recording)

In the United States, another major and, potentially divisive, election cycle is upon us. Consequently, the ever-present question has arisen: How are professing Christians to vote? In this episode of the Just Thinking podcast, Darrell Harrison and Virgil "Omaha" Walker look to the Scriptures for answers to that important question, while not mentioning any political candidates by name.

EP # 104 | Breonna Taylor and the Gospel

EP # 104 | Breonna Taylor and the Gospel

In the wake of the killing of Breonna Taylor, a 26-year old black woman, by Louisville, KY police officers on March 13, 2020—and the subsequent decision by a grand jury to not charge the officers with murder—many people, including many professing Christians, are nevertheless calling for “justice” for Breonna Taylor. But was “justice” not done? More importantly, what is “justice” to begin with? What should “justice” actually look like in society? Is “justice” primarily a matter of subjective standards or of objective truth? Listen as Darrell Harrison and Virgil (“Omaha”) Walker bring some hard biblical truths to the issue of “justice” in this special episode of the Just Thinking podcast.

EP # 103 | The Church of BLM

In this "freestyle" episode, Darrell and Virgil ("Omaha") discuss some of the fundamental doctrines that guide the organization Black Lives Matter and how those beliefs are more resemblant of a "church" with its own religion than a political entity seeking social justice.

Incredible!

The most refreshing conversation between strong Christian men that I’ve heard in a long time. The Truth has a way of deeply impacting its listeners/readers. In an era of grossly watered down Christianity it’s a true joy to hear you men BOLDLY speak of Christ. It’s was said...”we are not drawing a line in the sand, but in concrete”—we need truth and strength out here even in the midsts of rejection. They hated Christ and if we are living right, they’ll hate us too. We are not to unify with the ungodly. I never gave the idea of these “calls or unity” much thought. Thanks guys for your work on the subject. God bless you both!

Incredible Biblical and Christ-centered, podcast

I stumbled upon this podcast through a recommendation from a friend. It came at a crucial time in my life that I needed to be reminded and turned back to the true biblical gospel of Christ.
Darrell Harrison and Virgil Walker have been incredible vessels that the LORD is using to convict my heart, remove the veil from my eyes on what I was following in my life and the Holy Spirit has created a change in me that I cannot even put into words.
If you are seeking Jesus and true biblical truths, or even if you are not and just are seeking truth in a world that provides nothing by hypocrisy and contradiction of truth; then I encourage, no IMPLORE, you to listen to this podcast.

Everyone Needs to Listen

These guys nail it. I am continually “amen”ing them. Incredible truth in a world that needs it desperately. The episodes are long, but worth every minute.
