Hidden Depths
There are some real gems of wisdom in this sweet new podcast. Slow down, light a joint and drop in <3
This grabbed my attention. A must listen!
I have never heard such an eloquent, original talk. I have heard so many references to the idea that we are one, that sadly, I have come to tune the topic out. But this grabbed my full attention. Justin speaks so straightforwardly, painting an original view of how the roots of separateness and human alienation came into being, especially in Western cultures. It is nothing short of brilliant. Given the current crisis, the understanding he lays out in thorough, historical detail of the roots of separateness, is timely and could impact our view of all future crisis. It is a timeless view with a hopeful pointer to a cure and the relevancy of spirituality in all times. He defines precisely what that means. I wish everyone could hear his take on this topic.
I was skeptical, but then I listened.
There is a magic bullet? Feel like I've been sold that line in all kinds of forms. But then as I listened, J. Gold proceeded to address every viewpoint about how we're fooled into filling out lives with every substitute, creating a never ending job for ourselves. He then presented the ageless, true Magic Bullet and the outline of how it can become our reality.
Turned me around.
I've learned from many different teachers, studied different modalities, quested in India, Thailand, Korea...looking for answers. I'm delighted and shocked at some of what I'm hearing for the first time in these talks. Clearly a font of wisdom and given his life stories mixed into the talks, perspectives that he's not regurgitating, but has come to through his own efforts.
Very impressed.
And I love his stories. The story of his going to jail and what he found there--very impactful. They help the ideas to live in me as I keep chewing on them as I go through my days and applying what I can.
Thank you.
