A podcast to help you with that raging Kdrama addiction — because fangirls shouldn’t have to spazz alone. General topics include but are not limited to, Korean drama (how much we love it) and Kpop (we like that too, well — some of it) — basically anything even remotely related to Korean entertainment. With your hosts Stephanie and Cherry Cordial. (Formerly Crazy for Kdrama Podcast)
Our Pal Val - Conversations With A Newbie
This episode newbie Kpop/Drama watcher, power crafter, and all-around swell gal, Val joins the podcast. We chat the things currently tickling her fancy and how she got into them. Her new desire to learn ATEEZ, her deep and abiding love for Got7, how this has morphed into a fair amount of drama watching, and a killer collection of Kpop inspired pottery. During this time of the pandemic, it's been so nice to meet a new friend and help turn them into a raving Kpop fan...you know, a little bit of normal!
Sometimes you need a little help to watch a drama and then sometimes you need someone to tell you to sit your butt down in front of that tv and just watch that show! I think we all know where Stephanie is currently living. Talking about Devil Punisher, My Unicorn Girl, A Tale of 1000 Stars, Lovely Writer, Color Rush, Shall We Dance and the slightly horrifying HIStory 4.270
Two Day Affair
Podcast week! Since last time there was drama watching chat, this episode, not so much. Talking (ranting) the cancellation of Joseon Exorcist, debating the idea of JB being a better fit for H1ghr Music vs AOMG as a soloist, and some fun new shows that are coming up!
Also, let's all bask in the success of Stephanie finally becoming a Choice. She loves them so much she put a ring on it! (Or paid shipping and handling)
Do you ever count up the hours of dramas you watch? Episode here, an episode there, then you realize, in the last month you watched ALL of Manner of Death, We Best Love, Hours of Tale of a Thousand Stars, Run On, Let's Fight Ghost! Let's count them all up and see how many hours...no, never mind, let's not do that, bad idea. Eventually, we'll have to admit to how much 'screen time' it amounts to and you'd just embarrass yourself. If you don't count, you don't know, right?
The One With the Coffee
In the last-ditch of winter here in Colorado, a cold and rainy night, we're going to sit here under a cozy blanket, drink hot coffee and talk about stuff. First on the list the recent breakup between Spotify and Kakao M and then a foray into all of the awesome-sounding new kdramas coming in this month. Seriously, so many! Gotta get watching!
Thanks to various birthdays the watching field is pretty varied this week! We have mini-dramas like the idol-packed Convenience Store Fling, movies with Midnight Runners, old school Kdramas with She Would Never Known, and of course, our favorite BLs with the odd Win Jamie's Heart and the surprisingly addictive Gen Y.
Like a social distance hangout with friends
I’m a long...long time listener. This podcast has helped me through years of commutes, two cross country moves (I had to halt my weekly listening so that I had hrs of episodes for these moves) and now the weekly apartment cleaning during quarantine. I don’t have any irl friends to talk to about kdrama and kpop so I love hearing Cherry and Stephanie discuss their favs and their lives. It’s one of the highlights of my week.
All around lovely.
An insightful and enjoyable time. Like sitting with two friends and sharing good times together.
Check them out
I just found this podcast a few weeks ago and I've started listening from the first episode.
Stephanie and Cherry Cordial are funny and I really like the informall chatting between them. It makes the listener feel like they are apart of the conversation.
If you are a Kdrama or Kpop fan, check them out.
