https://www.daniellebernock.com/ ()Rejection. That affects all of us at one time or another. It also can be something a lot of people just accept as a normal way of life. When we get to that point, we believe it just is. And that’s that.

Some people actually believe GOD has rejected us.

Our sins may have separated us forever from Him, so there is no need to even try and repair that relationship. We just accept that we will never be loved.

But, folks, that is just a lie of the devil. The problem is, so many people just accept it! But that does not have to be YOU! Amen!

Danielle’s childhood was one of rejection. She felt rejected at home. She felt rejected at church. That rejection led her to believe life was hopeless. If even God did not love her, what was the point?

But, the Truth was, God DID Love her! Amen! She came to a realization that God had been with her all along. He is with you, too. Amen!

She went from being a trauma survivor to an international, award-winning author, speaker, podcast host and trauma-informed “self-love” coach who is able to help men, women and even organizations to becoming “Victorious Souls.” She has courses and workshops that help people to implement a proven process called S.E.L.F. She is widely known as “That lady on the internet who loves you!”

This is the conclusion of a great two part interview...
Your company is called “4F Media.” What are the four “F’s” stand for? 29:30

Are they the four core values of a “Victorious Soul,” or are those values something else?

How did you become known as the “Lady on the Internet that Loves You?”

As we mentioned, you are also an author.

Tell us about https://amzn.to/3Bk3Ey7 (“Emerging with Wings: A True Story of Lies, Pain and the Love that Heals.”)

Danielle’s book, https://amzn.to/3cFsgXH (“A Bird Named Payn”) is about the loss of her mother-in-law and how to embrace the pain.

Danielle’s most recent book is https://amzn.to/3JcTdOx (“Because You Matter: How to Take Ownership of Your Life So You Can Really Live.”) Danielle shares, not only information about her past, but some interviews with others as well.

Danielle’s book, https://app.convertkit.com/landing_pages/208700?v=7 (“Loves Manifesto”) – is available for FREE on her website!

How can someone obtain a copy of your books? Are they all on Amazon?

As we get ready to close, I have to ask about your podcast, https://www.daniellebernock.com/podcast/ (“The Victorious Souls Podcast.”) Is this an interview podcast, or teaching…? What can someone expect when they listen in?

Danielle, this has been so interesting, I feel I could just talk to you for hours. Amen! If someone wanted to get in touch with you, to ask a question or maybe to do an interview such as this, how can they do that? How can they get in touch with you?

Folks, we all have either experienced first-hand, or know someone who has, what being traumatized is all about. What feelings of inadequacy, worthlessness or questions of “why I’m even here” – are all about.

Danielle Bernock has made it her life mission to help people overcome these feelings; overcome these questions and to walk a “Victorious” life. To help you to make sure that you are a “Victorious Soul” and thriving and helping others in the process. Praise God! This is an awesome work and you need to get in touch with Danielle to find out more.

The first question I always start with is this. Other than that brief information I just gave, can you tell us in our own words, “Who is Danielle Bernock?”

Your story starts with being a “childhood trauma survivor.” Were you traumatized at school or church as well as at home?

At what point did you come to realize that God DID love you? How did that transform your outlook?

Can you explain to us how trauma is different in adults as compared to children?

I mentioned your four step process called “S.E.L.F.” Can you explain this process for us?

Finding Washington - Richard Raines pt 2

Finding Washington - Richard Raines pt 2

    Finding Washington
    Richard Raines pt 1
https://amzn.to/3oagreE ()For those that know me, and now for those that don’t know me as well, I’m a history buff. I have been since middle school. I just love history. Especially WWII history. But second to that is the founding fathers and the Revolutionary War.

One of my favorite of all founding fathers, is George Washington.

In fact, if you compare the integrity, virtues and leadership ability of almost any President since Washington, you would find most of the lacking in some sense. Especially in this day and time – don’t get me started. Amen!

Why am I talking about history and George Washington today? I’m so glad you asked!

Our guest today is Richard Raines, author of an absolutely great book titled, https://amzn.to/3oagreE (“Finding Washington: Why America Needs to Rediscover the Virtues of Her Most Essential Founding Father.”) Let’s just say this book should be a must read for every presidential candidate considering running for office. Amen!

Richard is not only an author, but a Professor of Christian History and Christian Theology, a former CEO and a former elected official (but we won’t hold that against him)…

Why did you write this book? (Richard is referencing our closing question from part one about the “Battle of Monongahela”).

I believe another of my favorite frontiersmen was involved in this battle as well, Daniel Boone! What role did he play in this battle?

Because of his actions during this battle, the American Indians had a prophecy about his future, right?

A lot of people today claim that the Founding Fathers were not really Christian, but rather were “deists” who don’t really believe in a personal God. What are your thoughts on the subject from the research you’ve conducted?

A lot of the “cancel culture” today are claiming anyone that owned slaves could not be virtuous, no matter their contribution to society. What are your thoughts on this and how can we, as a society, understand the dilemma the Founding Fathers faced in trying to form a new nation that held opposing views to slavery?

Richard, this has been so interesting. As I said, I’m a history “nut” and have really, truly enjoyed our conversation.

How can someone obtain a copy of your book, https://amzn.to/3oagreE (“Finding Washington: Why America Needs to Rediscover the Virtues of Her Most Essential Founding Father?” ) Is it available on Amazon?

If someone wanted to get in touch with you, to ask a question or to maybe do an interview like this, how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you?

I’ll put links to all of this down in the show notes.

Folks, George Washington was – and still is – an American treasure. Without him, this nation probably would not exist. He did so much in the formation of this great country. From leading a ragtag bunch of individualists and using them to defeat the largest military in the world (at that time); to motivating the squabbling delegates from the states to finally group together and take a stand for Liberty; to helping to form the office of the Presidency as we know it today and take on the title of king… We owe him an eternal debt of gratitude.

Despite the arguments to the contrary; despite the naysayers, George Washington should serve as role model for our culture today – instead of whatever the cancel culture has to say.

I urge you, if you enjoy reading about history; if you have children or grandchildren that you want to leave a positive legacy for – order Richard Raines book, https://amzn.to/3oagreE (“Finding Washington: Why America Needs to Rediscover the Virtues of Her Most Essential Founding Father.”)

Just drop down into the show notes below and click the links right there. Get in touch with Richard as well. Amen! But be sure to order his book, https://amzn.to/3oagreE (“Finding Washington: Why America Needs to Rediscover the Virtues of Her Most Essential Founding Father

First question, other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Richard Raines?”

Everyone thinks of George Washington as this “super patriot.” But, from what I remember, he was actually an officer in the British army and was refused a promotion because he was a “colonist.” Is that right and what are your thoughts on that?

Washington’s first major command actually resulted in a surrender, correct?

How do you think this shaped his strategic planning for the Revolutionary War?

But didn’t he make a huge mistake in trying to defend Staten Island in New York?

We are taking with Richard Raine, author of an absolutely fabulous book, https://amzn.to/3oagreE (“Finding Washington: Why America Needs to Rediscover the Virtues of Her Most Essential Founding Father.”)

Richard, Washington was involved in another major battle the very next year. Tell us about the “Battle of Monongahela?”

Forgiving The Nightmare - Mark Sowersby pt 2

Forgiving The Nightmare - Mark Sowersby pt 2

    Forgiving the Nightmare
    Mark Sowersby pt 2
https://amzn.to/3yTDIGT ()Forgiveness. That’s something all Christians are called to do, right? Sometimes, it is easier to say rather than do though.

But for some, life is not all sunshine and roses. It’s a nightmare. One that they cannot wake up from. One that drags them further and further into a deepening pit that they cannot seem to climb out of.

Our guest today lived that nightmare…

Suffering from physical, emotional and sexual abuse from the age of 7 until 14, in ways that most people cannot even imagine, Mark Sowersby emerged hurt, broken, resentful, rebellious and, well, the list goes on and on.

Then, one day, someone asked him to go to church. He heard the message of salvation and a seed was planted.

Forgiveness did not pop up like Jonah’s gourd. No, it took time.

Matthew tells us we need to forgive… But sometimes, there are time gaps between knowing what to do and actually doing it.

Pastor Mark Sowersby is the author of a great book detailing his journey. It’s titled, “https://amzn.to/3yTDIGT (Forgiving the Nightmare.”) Mark is also the lead pastor at Calvary Community Church in Dudley, MA. He is here today to discuss his book and to share his story in the hope of touching someone somewhere with that same kind of seed. The seed of forgiveness.

This is the conclusion of a great, two part interview with Pastor Mark...

In your book, https://amzn.to/3yTDIGT (“Forgiving the Nightmare,”) you talk about the “journey” that you are on. Can you share with us about, what you call, “forgiving at different levels?”

Are there still times when something happens that brings those nightmares back and you must forgive again?

Do you still have a relationship with your mother?

Your personal ministry is also titled, https://amzn.to/3yTDIGT (“Forgiving the Nightmare.”) Every person has their own kind of “nightmare” which they are living with. Something that the devil has used to try and keep us in some sort of bondage and not serving the Lord the way we would like to. How do you help those like that to overcome their nightmares?

Pastor, this has all been so interesting. How can someone order your book, https://amzn.to/3yTDIGT (“Forgiving the Nightmare?”) Is it available on Amazon?

If someone wanted to get in touch with you, to ask a question or possibly do an interview such as this, how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you?

I’ll put links to all this down in the show notes below…

Folks, not everyone has gone through life carrying the burden Pastor Mark has had to carry. But each one of us has had to carry something. Jesus is big enough to handle it. Jesus can remove those burdens and help you to forgive. Forgive those who have hurt you and even to forgive yourself.

If you prayed that prayer with Pastor Mark, reach out to him today, right now! Let him know that you prayed with him. Amen!

Be sure to order his book, https://amzn.to/3yTDIGT (“Forgiving the Nightmare.”) The links to get in touch with Pastor Mark and to order his book are below. Click them right now – while you are thinking about it!

Help me welcome to the program, Pastor Mark Sowersby.

Pastor, thank you for taking the time to join us today!

First question, other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Mark Sowersby?”

Your father was absent during your upbringing and you were raised by your mother. But that does not sound like it was a nurturing relationship either. Share with us just a little of what growing up in this environment was like?

Did your mother know what was happening?

Did any teachers or anyone in authority ever question what was going on?

Did you have any friends you confided in?

You said it stopped about age 14. How did your uncle provided the support you needed?

How did you come to meet the Lord?

How did you receive your calling into the ministry? Surely, the enemy tried to dissuade you from answering that calling, right?

You’re familiar with the story of Jacob wrestling with the angel who touched his hip and gave him a new name. The Bible says, basically, he walked with a limp the rest of his life, that’s the way I see it. But it was a continual reminder that his past was past and he now had a new name, Israel. He could never forget that the “old Jacob” was different from the man named “Israel.” Do you see yourself relating to Jacob in that matter?

Why did you write your book, https://amzn.to/3yTDIGT (“Forgiving the Nightmare”) at this point in your life?

Folks, not everyone has gone through life carrying the burden Pastor Mark has had to carry. But each one of us has had to carry something. Jesus is big enough to handle it. Jesus can remove those burdens and help you to forgive. Forgive those who have hurt you and even to forgive yourself.
