MnM Hockey Podcast: NHL Trends and Where Do They Play Now?
Alex and Chace are back for another week of content. There isn't much news going on in the NHL this week, however, there have been a handful of jerseys that have been revealed. Including both Canada and USA's Olympic jerseys. The guys give their opinions on them and discuss what they like and dislike about them. After that, they switch their focus to some NHL Trends. Including what is going on with the Vancouver Canucks? Is there a quick solution and what is the long-term outlook there?
They move on to look at a couple of teams that are starting off hot including the Calgary Flames, Carolina Hurricanes, and Florida Panthers. Discussing just how loaded the Atlantic division is if Sergei Bobrovsky is back and the Panthers are legit. Finally, they play a game of "Where Do They Play Now?". Where Alex names a player for Chace and he needs to guess their current NHL team.
Last Word SC Radio: MLS Conference Semifinals Discussion
What's up Internet and Happy Thanksgiving Eve! This week on Last Word SC Radio, Harvey and Matt get together to talk about the MLS Cup Playoffs. We recap the first round and look ahead to the MLS Conference Semifinals. In the Round Table, we predict results of the coming playoff games and discuss Bob Bradley joining Toronto FC and the disturbing NWSL news.
The guys don't spend a lot of time talking Colorado Rapids vs. Portland Timbers because we're recording the day before. If you want more content on that game, click here, here, and here.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Out! Washington Spirit Win NWSL Championship
It has finally happened, Manchester United ripped off the band-aid and deliver the message, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Out! After their 4-1 loss to Watford. However, this goes beyond just one result, it has been a long time coming. Sean and Erik go through the game, the talk from the players, Ole himself, and this idea of two interim managers and who in the world would want to come to take the job from Michael Carrick, and of course who winds up the next full manager for the club.
The Washington Spirit fulfilled their tagline as the "Team of Destiny" as Trinity Rodman willed the team to victory with two important setups that turned into the two goals that gave The Spirit a 2-1 win over the Chicago Red Stars. The Spirit now become the 5th team to win the NWSL Championship and now attention turns to the off-season where an expansion draft looms as well.
All of this, plus NBC retaining the rights to the English Premier League for another six years after they paid 2.7 Billion to stave off approaches from CBS, ESPN, and even Warner Media. FIFA has made a big change to the Intercontinental Playoffs and more.

Last Word on Sens: COVID Break, Callups, and Roster Construction
Alex is back after a two-week break. Since the last episode, there is plenty to talk about. Including the Ottawa Senators being shut down for a full week thanks to a COVID outbreak. To help him break all the news down is Steve on Sens. Together, the two start by looking at what this break means and should it have happened sooner? Then, they switch to the Ottawa Senators roster as a whole and how this season has already become a bit of a throwaway season. Diving into what they want to see going forward and why this year needs to be a learning year for management.
The guys also take a look at the last eight Sens games in which they went 1-6-1, an absolutely terrible stretch of hockey. It wasn't just COVID that impacted things, it's the team as a whole. Regardless, they also discuss what they liked out of certain rookie players and has someone like Lassi Thompson done enough to stay full time?
I mainly listen to the soccer podcasts, and I enjoy them. I prefer to listen live when available so I can try to interact via twitter and the like, since the hosts are such great guys to chat with. Shout out to Russ! But even the day after they're great to listen to on the run or at work. Keep 'em comin'!
