The Fat Budgie by John Lennon
This poem is from John Lennon’s second book titled “A Spaniard in the Works” printed in 1965. A great playful imaginative poem from an incredible artist who is dearly missed.

I Am Sure Rembrandt Loves Me ...
My love for Rembrandt has been with me throughout most of my life. An absolute genius who had a life full of incredible adversity, from a life of wealth and admiration to the death of his wife and children and ending up in absolute poverty. He never stopped creating, putting his entire life’s force into his work. This poem is inspired by this legend in the art world, Rembrandt van Rijn.

Sleep
