World's Strongest Dog by Long Neck
Why do dogs float in water? Because they are good buoys.
Someone put that joke in to f**k with me (Caleb) but the joke's on the, I think it's hilarious. Anyway, this week we talk to Lily from Long Neck about their new record World's Strongest Dog. Lily tells us the story about the very good boi on the cover of the record, we get real deep into the meaning behind the songs, and we learn about Lily's Don Bluth podcast The Gospel Bluth. This is very exciting and important news, and immediately after listening to this episode (and buying the record on Bandcamp) you should go listen to that. Then leave a rating of 5 stars and a "hell yeah!"
And don't forget to catch Long Neck's weekly livestream series Around the Campfire, every Friday at 7pm EST.
Little By Little... by Harvey Danger
This week, Caleb takes us back to 2005 to Harvey Danger's self-released third (and final) full-length record Little by Little. We learn about the burning ghost town of Centralia, and Caleb shares a story about how a Harvey Danger song became a key part of his wedding playlist.
And, surprising us both, this record is available on Bandcamp (harveydanger.bandcamp.com)!
Little By Little... by Harvey Danger (April Fools)
We were so excited about this episode that we decided to release it a... little early. But at least we released it all at once, and not... little by little. We hope you enjoy this record as much as we do, or at least a... little.
Get it?? Because the record is called Little by Little. Ahh, nevermind I give up. Or DO I??
Vocations by Early Riser
This week we're joined by Kiri & Heidi from Early Riser to discuss their brand new record Vocations (available now from A-F Records). We cover everything from s****y people with ulterior motives, the importance of being seen over being scene, some dope t-shirt ideas, and how music critics should watch more Food Network.
Don’t forget to pop over to https://earlyriserrr.bandcamp.com/!
Mike Erg - yeah, that Mikey Erg, the one that's in every band - is on the show this week. We chat about his dope new self-titled, the rad story behind the cover art, furniture made from road cases, and a sprinkle of data analytics. Come join the fun!
And when you're done, don't forget to check out mikeyerg dot bandcamp dot com!
Driver by Adult Mom
Come with us on this journey of discovery, as Caleb hears Adult Mom for the first time and gets progressively angrier about how goddamn good this record is. And then pick up your own copy over on Bandcamp.
While you wait for the vinyl you just ordered to show up, why not watch the video for Sober?

I love NPR’s All Songs Considered and this podcast has a very similar vibe and design. The pacing is just right and it feels super organic with its conversational persona. Great job, Kitzy and Caleb!
Good Podcast for Good Music!
I usually have a hard time getting into new music, but Kitzy and Caleb are great tour guides for introducing the listeners to the music they love. I've already discovered a ton of new / new-to-me albums through this podcast. Thoughtful, super-informed discussion by two funny friends. Strong McElroy energy, if that's your thing (Wonderful! especially--i.e., two people sharing stuff they love with each other and their listeners). A good music podcast by good music people!
