The city of Ephesus was a rich culture of temptations, and the church Paul helped establish there was in the thick of the fight. In the early years, the church flourished, but in later years it fell away from serving Christ. Paul's letter serves as forewarning of these things and instruct to us on how to avoid following in their footsteps. The letter is 50% doctrine and 50% exhortation for Christian living.

This study is a blessing!!

Wow, this study of Ephesians was very informative. I read this Epistle but felt it went over my head. This has quickly become one of my favorite of Paul’s Epistles. Pastor Armstrong’s spiritual gift of teaching is a blessing to those who choose to listen. This verse by verse study has down my faith in God and my knowledge and understanding of this epistle.

A preacher for mature Christians!

I truly enjoy listen to this podcast!
Finally, a preacher who speaks the Truth in a concrete manner for those of us who, by God's grace, have developed Christian maturity over time. Far too many well-meaning Christian preachers serve up a watered down gospel, rather than deliver the gospel with a depth that continues to bless even the most mature in faith.
