The Mentorship I Wish I Had When I Left

Chelsea’s podcast is the advice I needed when I left medicine more than a decade ago. At that time, I felt a lot of shame and fear around creating a new career path. Hearing Chelsea’s story and the stories of other guests feel so validating and inspiring when seeking an alternative career path. I wish Dr. Turgeon’s podcasts are required listening for all physicians-in-training and program directors and beyond. She brings physicians guests from diverse background to discuss important topics that never get addressed during our training. If we all pay attention to what she covers on her podcasts we would have much less physician burnout and many more happier physicians.
