Ariana

Oh Amy, so sorry for the loss of your dear Ariana. I know it hurts to not have her here in the person.
My son’s father died last week, I was doing the grieving crying, and I suddenly asked myself WHY - when I know what awaited him and the joy he’s in and the love and peace and all the golf he can possibly play - WHY do we need to shed tears and suffer within ourselves? Are we selfish? Yes. I’m sure you know Ariana is experiencing the love and peace, which passes all of our understanding here as humans on the earth, but dang! It will hurt less and then more and then less and then one day you still may tear up, but you’ll be grateful like you said. Feeling the “don’t cry because it’s over - smile because it happened”.
I’ll hold you in my heart today.

Just lost my dad

Struggling through grief, I stumbled upon this podcast. This is the only thing that’s given me comfort during the most difficult time in my life. Thanks for helping me work through spirituality, and separating it from religion. Great questions explored pertaining to difficult topics. A lot of the content resonated with me, as we’ve seen signs from dad, I’ve had one grief dream where I saw him, and he experienced many of the things dying people experience near death (seeing people and things we could not see). This podcast has helped me believe he is still with us spiritually, which makes grieving a little bit easier. Thank you Amy and guests for sharing your knowledge and stories.
