In today’s ‘Life Is Rich” podcast, I will share the how "Uncle Sam Will Pay You To Run A Home-Based Business".

Nate Scott, the author of "Life is Rich: How to Create Lasting Wealth." He discusses the financial challenges faced by many Americans, particularly the baby boomers who are retiring with insufficient retirement funds. Nate explains that there are two tax systems in the country: one for employees and one for business owners. The tax system for business owners offers more opportunities for deductions, allowing them to keep more money and reinvest in their businesses. The goal is to create jobs and stimulate the economy. Nate emphasizes the importance of becoming a business owner to take advantage of the tax benefits and reduce the burden of taxes on personal finances.

He highlights that small to medium-sized businesses create the majority of job growth in the United States, and Congress provides significant tax advantages to encourage this. Nate encourages individuals to consider starting a home-based business, as it allows them to redirect personal living expenses into business expenses, which are fully tax-deductible. This can result in substantial tax savings, potentially slashing tax bills by 30% to 50%. He explains that individuals with home-based businesses can qualify for new tax deductions, even if they haven't yet made a profit. By having a home-based business, individuals can benefit from extra cash in their pockets and the potential for additional income.

Nate reveals that not having a home-based business or being unaware of the tax breaks associated with it can cost individuals thousands of dollars each year in overpaid taxes. He promises to provide a tax strategy course to partners that will explain the specific tax breaks available and how to qualify for them. Nate emphasizes the importance of daily business-building activities and recommends finding a product or service one is passionate about to launch a successful home-based business. By doing so, individuals can take advantage of the tax benefits provided by the business owner tax system and potentially save thousands of dollars in taxes each year.

In today’s ‘Life Is Rich” podcast, I am with Andrew Blackman. Anxious, scared, sad, and unsure are emotions that dominated my childhood. I was the smart kid who showed a lot of promise but kept my fears inside. Growing up in church, being talented, athletic, and well-liked by most didn't stop my silent fears from turning into depression as a self-loathing teen. I played it safe as best as possible and had a hard time making decisions and living courageously. I know anxiety and trauma from the inside out. Being bullied, witnessing acts of violence, and fearing punishment of all kinds kept me silent for a long time. Things are different now. It feels good to be free!
