Grateful

I’ve followed Mike for decades but only recently found this podcast. To hear such profound discussion from someone I typically rely on for comedy is something I’m deeply grateful for. As a person of faith, I feel connected to the topics and look forward to diving into the back episodes.

My favorite podcast

I've been listening for a while now, but I wanted to wait to write my review until I got all caught up. It's been excellent the whole way through. These guys are doing a great job of thoughtfully and winsomely talking through big issues and explaining the Christian point of view. They manage to go pretty deep while still keeping it understandable, and never -- thank God -- falling prey to the modern curse of deliberately trying to be edgy and offensive. (I realize the gospel is an offense to some, but I don't think we're supposed to try to make it an offense on purpose!) It's clear this stuff means too much to them to try to cheapen it that way, and I'm grateful for that. They're also routinely hilarious, though I can't help but feel sorry for Dave when Mike tortures him with weird food! :-)

I almost wish I HADN'T got caught up so I could do some more binge-listening! Keep up the good work, you two, it's very much appreciated.

Fun and Facinating

A great variety of topics and discussion and personality to go with it.
