Like Trees Walking

David Berge and Michael J Nelson take on the big questions of philosophy, theology, and culture in the 21st century from a Christian perspective with a touch (well maybe more than a touch) of humor. We talk about serious topics without taking ourselves seriously.
Easy on the Ears

I found this podcast because of my fondness for Mike’s work on Mystery Science Theater 3000 and RiffTrax. Dave and Mike are great to listen to. It appears I’ve discovered them a little late, since there hasn’t been a new episode in some time (I believe Mike now lives in San Diego). LTW is very accessible and entertaining — observing current events through a Christian lens while being refreshingly funny and self-deprecating. Lots to like about this podcast. If you guys are done, I appreciate what you’ve put together.

I like it a lot. Great, deep content
Whispering
11/20/2023
Interesting podcast though both Mike and Dave have this bad habit of starting a sentence at normal volume but finishing off with a whisper leaving half their sentence unheard. What makes it worse is the podcast is recorded at a very low volume and the compression on their voice (if there is any) isn’t strong enough to bring up the volume of their voice when they go into whisper mode.
Solid podcast about Christianity with a lighthearted touch

I really enjoy this podcast and recommend it to those who want to hear to fun people engaging in discussions from the perspective of Christianity while still keeping things lighthearted. It’s a refreshing perspective and even when I disagree with them I still value gaining a deeper understanding of their views and takes on things. My only criticism is that Episode 612 introduced me to the Fall Out Boy version of “We Didn’t Start the Fire” which may indeed be the worst cover of any song I have ever heard… but they did include a warning…
