    New Podcast - Mental Platypus

    New Podcast - Mental Platypus

Hey, everyone. Yes, it's true, Limited Engagement is over, but if you liked the show, and maybe you miss the show, there's good news! Jared and his friend and What the Fork co-host, Jason Keil, have started a new podcast, Mental Platypus! Eventually, the show will grow to feature interviews, review segments from other voices, and more, but for now, it's just what you've grown to (hopefully) love--two friends shooting the shit about Life, the Universe, and Everything.

LE 147 - Remembering Adam Schlesinger

One of the many, many casualties of COVID-19, Adam Schlesinger's death is a huge loss for the pop music world. In addition to his brilliant work in the band Fountains of Wayne, he was also a founding member of Ivy (another great pop band), wrote the title track for the Tom Hanks film That Thing You Do, worked on the music for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and much more. In rememberance, here is a discussion I had with Marc Oxborrow on FoW's final album, Sky Full of Holes, for the podcast Album Infinitum.

Look no further

If you like entertainment and relatability that simultaneously supports the ventures and recognition of your local community, I couldn’t recommend a better podcast. Not only do you feel engaged and interested in the topics of discussion, but exposure to the featured guests and their causes/passion that exists within your own home state are incomparable. With a consistent output and reliability, this podcast quickly becomes something to look forward to that also never fails to deliver. It is the right mix of everything.

Consistently interesting and engaging!

Limited Engagement is my “go to” podcast for interesting and engaging conversations. I say conversations because rather than an interview, you feel like you’re at a coffee shop captivated by an interesting back and forth. It really is an example of why I love this medium. Local content that anyone will find insightful!
