Dr. Gerson Garros Associate Pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Cordova, TN shares his Brazilian heritage with plans to become an architect before following a call to study theology. Dr. Garros Pastored and was a Seminary Professor for 25 years before moving his family to the United States. He talks about what it’s like to be a church located in a multi-ethnic community and the importance of hearing people’s hurts to connect the Gospel to those needs. This has led the church to start a successful outreach through ESL. He also provides insight to building a church education program that’s designed to transform lives.
