The Biden administration has a stated goal of conserving 30% of the U.S. land and waters by the year 2030. What does that look like and how do they intend to accomplish that goal? Margaret Byfield was the first to discover and report on this issue. She joins Jim again to give an update on the creation of Natural Asset Companies. She also explains what conservation easements, or what she calls conservation servitude, is and how the federal government are using them to take over agricultural land. She talks about the pitfalls of signing on to an easements and the things that should be considered before signing.

US Department of Agriculture has mandated cattle ranchers to use electronic ID ear tags when shipping some classes of cattle. Jim starts off by talking about the Opportunities for Fairness in Farming Act that has been introduced in the Senate to stop Checkoff dollars from funding lobbyists that work against farmers and ranchers.
