How they make you feel is not who you are

Your value isn't determined by what others think of you but by who God says you are

Those you serve the most, often appreciate you the least

What's normal isn't celebrated; it's expected

Just because they don't notice now, doesn't mean they won't notice later

What you attempt to control the most often reveals where you trust God the least. 

You don’t always have the power to control, but you always have the power to surrender. 

Questions to Ask When You’re Tempted to Control 
Is it worth my concern?   
Is it mine to control?  
Is it for God alone? 

Observation #1: Some people look the part, but lack the heart

Observation #2: You can’t have a relationship with Jesus on “borrowed” faith 

Observation #3:  A day will come when the door will shut
