This week I have a wonderful conversation with the man regarded as the merchant prince, former Gap and JCrew CEO, Mickey Drexler.

Mickey opens up about his early days in the retail industry at big names such as Bloomingdales and Ann Taylor, where he would sharpen his skills to move onto a pivotal role at the Gap. During his tenure he created the mega brand Old Navy, which would soar to unimaginable popularity, turning the Gap brand from a failing Jean shop to an $18billion retail giant.

Top selling, clean beauty founder Laney Crowell talks about her brand Saie Beauty that launched in 2019 and has shot to the top of the ranks at mega retailer Sephora and became a social media darling with its glossybounce lip gloss and glowy super skin foundation to name a few.

We are kicking Season 3 off with a venerable titan in the culinary industry, a New York Times 4 star and 3 star Michelin chef, Hamptons resident Eric Ripert whose restaurant Le Bernardin was just named number one worldwide.

This week I have a lovely interview with the two founders of Levain Bakery, Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald. You may know about their hearty and delicious chocolate walnut cookies but the pair began as friends training for triathlons and went on to become business partners for over 20 years. Starting with a small bakery on the Upper West Side of New York City and then the Hamptons, they steadfastly grew their business before the age of Social Media into a national brand that now has over 300 employees and 12 locations including Chicago and Los Angeles.

We chatted about how it all started, expanding on a national level, surviving and thriving through uncertain times, new items on the bakery roster and some of their favorite past times in the Hamptons.
