Episode 1: The Shadow of Change
Welcome of the first episode of Manne of Green Gables, where you eavesdrop on a man reading "Anne of Green Gables" books to his sleepy wife. Thrill to silly voices, forced double-entendres and unexplained in-jokes!
We join the Manne as he reads the first chapter of the third book in the series. Anne is about to go to college! Diana is complaining! Gilbert is thirsty! Davy wants to know things!
And next episode, expect a special appearance from Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Episode 2: Garlands of Autumn (1)
Episode 2 of the podcast sees us beginning the second chapter of Anne's third book. Anne says good bye to friends and can't quite figure out that she's into Gilbert.
While Dog the Bounty Hunter does NOT appear in this episode, we do receive an appearance by Mrs. Rachel Lynde, voiced by Paul Lynde. And Diana Barry sounds more like a bad Jim Belushi impression with every appearance, which is kinda cool too!
Mrs. Manne needs becomes too sleepy to continue midway through the chapter, so this one is TO BE CONTINUED...

Episode 3: Garlands of Autumn (2)
More Manne-on-Anne action! We revisit some old Anne-named locations in this one, like the Dryad's Bubble (also known as the Juicy Double in the Manne household). Mrs. Manne was sleepy, so we just close out Chapter II and edge, ever so slightly, into the kids' departure for college in Chapter III.

Episode 4: Greeting and Farewell
The rest of Chapter Three of "Anne of the Island" is read by the Manne to his good lady wife in this episode! In it, a sulky Anne talks smack about Charlie Sloane.

Episode 5: April's Lady
Anne and Prissy register for college as Freshmen hoot at everyone, then retire to explore the cemetery at lunchtime. When they meet a pretty lady, the Manne becomes very concerned that the voice he gives her is rapidly drifting from an impression of Olympia Dukakis in "Steel Magnolias" to more of an impression of Jean Hill in John Waters' "Desperate Living".

Episode 6: April's Lady (2)
We finish Chapter 4 and sail right in to Chapter 5! Phil's dubious Olympia Dukakis vocal stylings continue, and Anne gets some letters from home.
WTF why is Gilbert writing Ruby Gillis letters? Not that I mind, of course, they're just chums, I'm sure, NOT LIKE ANNE IS JEALOUS
