How do you recognize what’s real? Especially in this day and age with technology making it easier than ever to commit fraud. When it comes to the church we need to make sure that the voice we are hearing is that of Jesus. He reminds us that “I am the Good Shepherd, My sheep follow me because they recognize My voice.” We need to be sure in the time that we are in that we do truly know His voice to make sure that we are not lead astray.

What does it take to follow Jesus? This is a good question as we saw so many attending last Sunday’s Easter service. But more than attending a service we have a greater call to Follow Him! What does that look like? Luke 9:23 tells us that it does come with a cost as it states, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves, take up their cross daily and follow me.” That’s why for those who choose to follow Jesus, it’s tough and it takes grit!

Was Jesus really raised from the dead? The Apostle Paul thought it was a Core Concept to our faith when he wrote 1 Corinthians 15:14 ISV. ‘If the Messiah has not been raised, then our message means nothing and your faith means nothing.’ As far as he was concerned, if the resurrection never happened, there’s no point in telling you it did.
