Matt Gillespe | On Creating Lasting Impact, Crowd-Giving, and even Psychedelics All of Us

In this episode, we’re joined by Matt Gillespie, an industrial designer turned green energy entrepreneur. Matt has been working at the intersection of design and impact for over a decade and has seen firsthand the challenges of creating positive lasting change. He shares his experiences of working in emerging markets and the difficulties he faced in being able to make a real impact. His latest project, Gaia Gives, is a crowd-giving platform that aims to create new tools for connecting donors to their impact and incentivizing peer-to-peer fundraising for a regenerative future. We also discuss the concept of hope and how it relates to his work, the role of psychedelics in his journey and the importance of community in his latest project.
