Matt - A young man's journey through misophonia's trials‪.‬ The Misophonia Podcast

    • Mental Health

This is a very powerful conversation with Matt, a young man who lives just outside of Chicago. Matt is just out of high school but he’s already lived through a lot of darkness and pain brought on by his misophonia, having effects on family, friends, school, work, and ultimately culminating in a hospitalization last year to treat his mental health. Matt now has close friends that help him, his family supports him and he is driven to use his pain to help other young people who are also suffering from mental health issues. We even have some good laughs throughout our conversation. I just exchanged messages with Matt last night and he is excited to get his story out and hopes it helps others who may be suffering in silence.
