Abide #5: Doctrine and Covenants 85-87

We will be discussing each week’s block of reading from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ “Come, Follow Me” curriculum. Abide #1: Doctrine and Covenants Section 76

No, this was a project about seeking out meanings and insights that had been lost over […]

MI Podcast #126: Becoming a people of the Book(s)

Dream Come True

I’m a “completest” (I listened to every episode). When I grow up I want to be a Theologian. The problem is to the rest of the world I am not only grown and closer to old, I live in an area where very few love the deep dive discussions. This podcast allows me to feel like I’m there talking with my favorite theologians. Thank you so much.

Five stars until Blair Hodges left

This podcast with Blair Hodges was a unique and thoughtful addition to religious discussion and understanding. The depth and range of guests and the ability of Blair to prepare so well and ask such excellent questions really was something special. Having Blair interview guests ranging from Marilyn Robinson to the Givens’ was a treat indeed. Now the podcast is yet another review of yearly curriculum in an already crowded field. Maybe worthwhile but nothing special, I am afraid. HUGE LOSS. Blair, please come back!! Additionally, if people are going to be in this program, could they at least dump the speaker phone. The sound quality is terrible.
