Based on the M'Cheyne reading system, this ESV Bible plan features 4 different readings for use in both family and personal devotions. Each day Conrad Mbewe reads two passages from the Old Testament, one from the New Testament, and one from either the Psalms or the Gospels. In one year, you’ll hear the Old Testament once and the New Testament and Psalms twice.

Inexplicably Redeemed
I so appreciate Pastor Embewe’s expressiveness, as in, “O Lord…” or as in today’s reading, “O foolish ones and slow of heart to believe all that the Prophets have spoken!! (Luke 24:25). How I wish there was a daily Psalm read likewise by this dear pastor.

I’ve been waiting to hear more of Pastor Mbewe’s reading of scripture since stumbling across a reading on YouTube. His Zambian accent is a precious reminder that God’s word is for the world. Hearing the Bible read in other accents is a blessed sound to my ears. Thank you.
