Really Good Exposure Ep.1 - Pilot episode with Lily Loveless

Really Good Exposure Ep.1 - Pilot episode with Lily Loveless

Welcome back! The podcast has had a much needed upgrade! I am pleased to present the pilot episode of my podcast 'Really Good Exposure: The life lessons I learned the hard way, so you don't have to'

On this episode, I speak with one of my closest friends, Skins cast mate, and roommate - Lily Loveless! Lily played Naomi in the UK teen drama Skins almost 15 years ago alongside me.

Lily and I get into the nitty gritty about what's been going on since our time on Skins, our friendship, what life as neurodivergent creative freelancers is really like and what's in store for us in the future.

We also reminisce on our time filming Skins together, and answer some listener questions.

This episode was produced by the amazing Alice McDermott!

Please comment, like, share on socials and tell your friends about the episode! The better the response to this pilot episode the better the chance that this gets turned into a fully fledged podcast series :)

    Much love!

Ep. 19: NYE, ADHD, Lockdown Slump and Only Fans

Another stream of consciousness from yours truly, only this time she's been locked inside a house for the past year! Meg gives her opinions (which were never asked for) on a variety of topics, including how to ease lockdown slumps (maybe?), her progress on getting an ADHD diagnosis, and her take on Only Fans (its great). Remember: no one's forcing you to listen.

Ep. 18: Russel Brand, Bella Thorne, and birth control.

Meg discusses (/rants) about the recent opinion of the all-knowing-fountain-of-knowledge that is Russel Brand, Bella Thorne's recent highjacking of a certain online platform and the (questionable) reasoning behind it, as well as the narratives around women taking the pill/natural birth...

Ep. 17: What Happened to the Dumbbells and Donuts Documentary?

Ep. 17: What Happened to the Dumbbells and Donuts Documentary?

Its taken four years, but I am finally at a place where talking about this won't leave me an angry, revenge-seeking mess. The Dumbbells and Donuts documentary was my baby. I spent the entirety of what little money I had on getting it made, and I quite literally put sweat blood and tears into competing, and it is yet to see the light of day.

This podcast is not as fun as the others but serves as more as something I can refer people to when they ask 'What happened to the Dumbbells and Donuts Documentary?' so that I don't have to go over it again, because I am still just as upset about it as I was four years ago and going over it and explaining it is really exhausting.

I promise the next episode we will be back to our regular scheduled programming! x
