Mile High Magazine 11/21/2021 Salvation Army

    Guest:  Major Mike Dickinson

The salvation has been around since 1865 but has been in the Denver area since 1887.  They support those in need without discrimination and open 365 days a year.  They help in so many ways but a few are providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, outreach to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children.  About 82 cents of every dollar raised goes to those programs.  The “Hope Marches On” holiday campaign fights to keep families in their homes and provide a Christmas meal as well as present for under the tree.  New this year with the Red Kettle, you can also do Kettle Pay, just scan the QR code and you can by with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo and Paypal.
