The MOST Dynamic of Duos
The Divine Miss Mims and my Favorite Relation, Auntie Maim, are the best combination since warm pie and ice cream. Period. They have lit up my life like a rainbow disco ball. Their repartee is unmatched. Not only do I have the joy of sauntering down Designing Women memory lane with these delightful queens, they also take me for a stroll down Southern Main Street and usher me into the most fabulous karaoke bar. I have learned so much about different communities from the show, for which I am extremely grateful. As a child of the 80s myself, I have cackled along to the nostalgic and witty anecdotes. Not just hilariously entertaining, Mims and Maim are the most dazzling example of lifelong friendship you’ll ever have the privilege and pleasure to encounter. You will love the SO MUCH, you'll even be inspired to watch the hideous post-Suzanne seasons just to hear what their brave but controversial takes on the dumpster fire. WHAT A TREAT TO FIND!
I loved DW as a child, and just finished watching the series straight through in 3 weeks on Hulu. As soon as I finished it this morning, I searched hoping to find a podcast- SCORE!!! Love y’all’s energy and personalities from about the 2 minute mark. <3
Also, I don’t ever watch reality TV & so have never seen a single minute of Drag Race, but I listen to it alllll. I was also into the golden palace podcast, but I understand you all needed to do it only if your hearts were 100% into the project.
I finally caught up to the current podcast episodes & I’m kinda bummed because I loved having hours & hours a day of getting to listen to your fantastic dynamic, friendship & sass. I’ve been saying “that’s a racism” & it makes me chuckle.
