Angela uncovers a Michael Scarn deleted scene and Jenna continues to try to give a shoutout to that great background actor in the hospital bed next to Toby. The Office gang continues to lose weight for the Dunder Mifflin Weight Loss Challenge, and a truly unexpected proposal happens. We hear an audio clip from Paul Feig about what it was like to be the Season 5 “Tastemaker”. A Look Back on Weight Loss, Part 1

Today we’re taking a look back on Weight Loss and Jenna and Angela have some new info to share! With a little more digging, Angela shares some alts and Jenna tells a story about how all the cast members got their instant messaging screen names. To kick off Season 5 and this two part episode, Angela also shares that the DVD commentary features commentary from The Office crew! The crew gives the lowdown on how they shot this episode that spans over an 8 week period. It was a continuity nightmare with fruit flies, goatees, and a cast member that had to have their shirt digitally altered in post. The ladies also break down an old tech alert that caused camera interference and we find out what’s going on with Meredith’s sunburnt face. Enjoy this episode now, so you can get in bed with your nice comforter and several cozy pillows, read a chapter of your book and have lights out by 8:30. That’s how you sleep at night.

Such a great podcast! Evaluate advertising!

I love this podcast so much. It has helped me through the darkest season of my life so far. I wish more than ANYTHING to give 5 stars… however, in this day and age we ALL must work together to point out what is wrong in this world. Unfortunately, their advertising efforts need to be improved. Jenna! Angela! Walmart does NOT need you to advertise for them. They have been withholding profits from employees for decades and forcing hard working employees to resort to social programs to make ends meet. THIS IS NOT FICTION. It is reality. AS ARTISTS I EXPECT YOU TO CALL THEM OUT ON THIS. YOU ARE CREATIVE MINDS WHO CAN SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING. Nobody needs to hear how “great” their selection is. We need EVERY voice to speak up AGAINST late stage capitalism. NOW!! BOTH OF YOU should remember what Rain said ON YOUR PODCAST…. We as a society need to push away from this “first place” “all or nothing” mentality that is causing us as a society to collapse. SAME WITH INDEED. Indeed pushes the highest paying ads to the top. It’s almost comical to think if Amazon just spent a little more money to actually make the job worthwhile… they wouldn’t have to spend so much pushing their delivery driver ads to the top of each and EVERY PAGE. The more you search the more you see how their algorithm tries to push people into TERRIBLE jobs when there is so much more out there! Going forward I hope you will focus more effort on advertising for companies that value YOUR VALUES. Greed, and profits over people is NOT what Office Ladies is about. Walmart and Indeed are NOT who you are. YOU ARE BETTER.

New episodes are rare

This is a really fun podcast, and having a schedule that works for all involved is important, but for the last several months there are just so so many reruns and new episodes sooooo infrequently now. I love the pod but it’s really annoying not knowing if I get to listen to a new episode or if I’m getting a rerun for the third week in a row.

Milking it

They’re towards the end of the show, and it is noticeable. Commercial breaks after two seconds of talking. A new episode every other week with a re-rerun in the middle or for any small holiday. I love this show but I will not follow whatever they work on after if they only care about the money and not giving their fans new content regularly
