Connor Bedard IS NOT a Cow!
Happy Pride Month from the girlies! Just like Tyler Seguin, Connor Bedard, the man of the summer, is also not a cow. We recognize that it's been a tough time for LGBTQ+ sports fans and players, but our podcast will always remain a safe space for anyone and everyone.
It's been a while since you've last heard from us, hasn't it? We've got a lot to cover in this episode, from our not-so-successful playoff brackets to the anti-climactic 2023 NHL Draft. We're also catching up on two months' worth of hockey culture moments, such as the Kraken's BookTok fame, the NHL's Taylor Swift obsession, the Blackhawk's iconic Glamboni, and so. much. more.
This is season two episode one of the Mitts & Chicks diversity and anti-hate series! Just like last summer, we want to tackle underrepresented topics in sports such as homophobia, racism, sexism, and mental health representation. HAPPY 'YOFFS, Y'ALL! The girlies are fired up and ready for two straight months of no sleep as we prepare to root for our teams during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Well, everyone except Ali. LGRW. The Other Side of a Trade w/ Madison Aubé-Kubel
We're so excited to welcome Madison Aubé-Kubel onto the show. Maddie, who you might know from her amazing TikToks and iconic WAG jackets, is the wife of Capitals player Nicolas Aubé-Kubel, aka the guy who dropped the Stanley Cup. Maddie offers an interesting insight into what life is like as a WAG, including how she's dealt with moving four times in the past two years. We also got to learn about how she started making her WAG jackets, laugh at some silly stories about her dogs, and a learn couple good lessons about embracing change.

These three are charismatic, funny, and embody all the qualities of what hockey is all about. I recorded the audio of the intro and then made it my alarm sound on my phone so I can wake up every morning to the mits and chicks. I’m not a creep I promise. 10/10 would recommend
