    Episode 19: Marito Lopez

    Episode 19: Marito Lopez

This week I sit down with Papi himself, the hilarious Marito Lopez.  Marito is one of my favourite comedians to watch because his high energy onstage is something I aspire to.  He talks to me about sobriety, stand up comedy and personal growth.  I learn a lot about Marito in this episode and no wonder, he does not hold back.

    Episode 18: Zabrina Douglas

    Episode 18: Zabrina Douglas

This week I sit and chat with my hero, Zabrina Douglas!  Zabrina began doing stand up comedy when her kids were little to help get over stage fright.  Fast forward 15 years to today, her loud, energetic stage presence brings laughter to every show she's on.  Her stories about nursing, motherhood and growing up with Jamaican parents leaves audiences with an inside look into a pretty incredible and hilarious life.  Catch her comedy show  "Things Black Girls Say" at Comedy Bar in Toronto on August 22, 2021.
    Enjoy!

    Episode 17: Sashka DC

    Episode 17: Sashka DC

This week I talk to my very good friend and comedy collegue, Sashka DC!  Sashka is a toronto based stand up comedian with a new podcast called "Anxiety Noir".  She is also the cohost of Sunday Best Comedy with Tamara Shevon where they take a scenario and ask "What would Kanye do?"

We talk about breakups, getting our asses in shape and how stand-up comedy is kinda like highschool (she is in grade 10 and I am graduating middle school).  We try out a bunch of new sponsors throughout the show and I promise Sashka I will let her help me with any future dating decisions because I really have no idea what I'm doing.

    Episode 15: Kali Williams

Kali Williams is a stand up comedian, film maker and the president of Scavenger Films, the only film festival/production house in Toronto featuring no-budget films.  We talk about how we met, his current relationship status and his current obsession with Muppets!  Mostly we just act silly and dumb, but we had fun doing it.

    Episode 14: C E Hoffman

    Episode 14: C E Hoffman

This week I sit down with my good friend C E Hoffman, author of the debut novel "Sluts and Whores".  We cover A LOT in this episode from how this book came into existance to their personal experience in and around the world of sex work and so much more.  I could have spoken to C all afternoon and I feel so honoured that they let me (and you!) into their head and into their heart.  I hope you enjoy the conversation we had.  Now go buy their book!!

Lalindia ,

Tara keeps it real

I love how this podcast is really upfront about the challenges of being a parent and being a podcaster and just all the stuff we have to deal with. Empathetic and relatable.
