So today we found out that it’s not the making & baking process that's most labor intensive, it’s the decorating! That’s the part where attention to detail, creativity & skill are paramount. Today we were joined by Josue Villanueva, founder, creator & owner of Cakes By Josue. As a lifelong Auroran, Josue has been a part of the fabric of our city for a very long time. He is a creative person with a gift for brightening up a room with a smile, and a dedication to family. In our conversation we spoke about his Mom & Grandmother, his business plans and goals and also what it takes to make cakes. April 2nd is the return of 1st Friday’s in Aurora! Fun is returning and on that day our friends of Windy City Game Theater will be hosting games for FREE at 76 S. Broadway (Broadway & Benton) in downtown Aurora. It’ll be from 6 to 9 pm so bring the kids and your gamer friends. Also, don’t forget the Community Blood Drive taking place at 1 E. Benton (Gallery 1904, lower level) on Monday the 29th. Each donor will save up to 3 lives! Shouts out to our elected officials & DuKane A.B.A.T.E for hosting such a needed & helpful event.
