I live in Massachusetts, and have only been to Sitka a half dozen times. So why, you might ask, do I listen to Raven Radio news? I find it soothing. I find it reassuring. A lot of national news, and even my own local news, is so alarming. I like to spend a few minutes on weekdays hearing from Sitka: what's happening in city council? How did the elk hunt look this fall? What are people doing as they get ready for winter? How is marijuana law playing out?
