Disillusioned RM ,

A Safe Space

I just started listening to this podcast, and felt compelled to write a review right away because I was SO grateful for the episodes on missionary trauma. As an RM who experienced depression, anxiety, and an eating disorder on the mission, and had my faith tried like never before, I have struggled greatly in having a conversation outside of therapy about having a hard time going to church after the mission. Those episodes were very validating for me and I finally felt like there were other people out there who DID understand how I feel. Thank you.

My Favorite Podcast

This is by far my favorite podcast. It covers taboo subjects, gives fresh insights into life with a Mormon background, and is valid/reliable. The host is fun, personable, and above all professional. She has educated me more than once, and I’m a better person for listening to her.
