Intriguing story telling
I listed to the first episode and learned some new perspectives and related along the way. I immediately sent this to my close group of girl friends because we talk about this deep kind of growth and discovery all the time. This was like chatting with friends I’ve know for years. Can’t wait for the rest of the episodes.
Take time to get real and get inspired
Listening to hostess Maxine thoughtfully interview former model and publicist Dana Hill, founder of The Black Doll Affair, who bares her truth about being called ugly and ignored in the ‘80’s and ‘90’s when fair skin was preferred by modeling agencies was eye opening. Dana has a thoughtful method she lives by and shares how she morphed during the 2000’s to eventually help thousands of young girls appreciate their skin, believe they are good, not bad, and has hundreds of volunteers boosting self esteem to young ones all over the US. I love Maxine’s genuine style of highlighting another woman’s difficult road and how to prosper by growing from within to love your self first.
