While listening to the Rocketman episode I had to cringe as you said, you didn’t look up to Elton “because he did not write his songs.” Elton is a child/adult musical piano prodigy! He writes all the instrumentals of all his music! He could just read the words of what his partner/writer wrote and the music would come to him and he’d sit at the piano and write the music in minutes. He is amazing and you’d know that if you saw him in concert.
