Today we chat with PR company owner Dawn Jones. We hear her story of growing from fiddle player to fiddling with promotion as an intern to full-on “one stop shop” for artists with her company, Pressed PR. We break down tracking results and what it means to be ready for PR.

Dawn Jones is the founder of music promotion house, Pressed PR.  Deeply rooted in the music industry, Pressed PR was originally founded as a passion project that would empower other independent artists to succeed. Dawn wanted to develop a modern company that embodied the essence of intentional, personal, and innovative marketing with a team that displayed the strongest work ethic for their artists. Limiting beliefs among musicians can be all over the place depending on individual experiences, backgrounds, and aspirations. However, here is our list of the top ten most common.  Our hope is to help you identify how you may in fact be holding yourself back for the very goals you desire.

Action:Identify the biggest limitation you are holding on to and write it down in the opposite as an affirmation.  This shit works.  If you don’t believe me, try it and see. What do you have to lose!?
