CC 159: It's an alternate universe over here

Hirings and firings continue, but what really matters is how different Utah LDS is from Missouri RLDS. Finances. Gender. Transparency. Focus. Use of resources. Take everything you knew a true from Utah LDS, flip it and reverse it into an alternate universe, and that's Missouri RLDS.

Word!

MyMo is the best podcast for anyone interested in "the Book of Morman" as read by a neutral observer. The comments and banter are the crux of this show, the special guests some once believers add that extra spin. I found this podcast by accident and have been listing to it it non stop since December 21 2019 and I'm on episode 73 as I write this review. I will listen until I've cought up and continue to listen. After reading the Bible Old and New testament and being mortified at the shear brutality of the "WORD OF GOD" the next indicated step was clearly TBOM. Holy S#!T I'm going to write my own sacred text!

Look!

I found this podcast while looking for something else, and it’s a gem! I’ve always been interested in reading religious texts, but they can get a bit boring if not incomprehensible. David’s confusion, outrage, jokes, and attempts to paraphrase keep me engaged and interested.

Love it

Being a born and raised Mormon, I love it. His insight and comprehension is great and he actually probably understands more than a lot of Mormon by just a first reading. That being said, if your a firm Mormon believer, you might be bristled because he obviously is reading it from a very skeptical perspective. Worth the listen in my opinion.
