    Meryl Tanz (Wife #2) - Part 1

    Meryl Tanz (Wife #2) - Part 1

In his autobiography, David Cassidy describes her as strikingly attractive and "lookin' for love."  In the first episode of Season Two, South African horse breeder Meryl Tanz describes meeting the number one American heartthrob of the time, how he asked her to dance, how he sang to her, and how they fell  in love on their first  date. Their marriage may have only lasted from 1984 to 1988, but Meryl's insights about Cassidy are unlike anything you've ever heard. This marks Ms. Tanz's first and (to date) only interview ever given about her marriage to the pop icon, and results in information never before publicly revealed. Leave your thoughts and opinions on our Facebook page also called "My Life with David Cassidy," and read fellow fans observations about this historic interview. Please also leave us a review!

A revelation

Fascinating interviews with people who were enviably close to the real David Cassidy. At times it was hard to hear unpleasant, negative things about the man who was your first crush, your “first love”, and I regret missing so much of the rest of his life while living my own. He was gorgeous, charismatic, and he created a fun, loving character in the Partridge Family which provided a lot of happiness to me during those years of growing up.

He was a man with flaws as we all have; he made mistakes

Sherry Williams Benedon.

Sherry has been my friend since we were 12 years of age. Sherry has been a wonderful mother to all three girls. I had seen David in Las Vegas interact with Katie. It was sad that she did not have a deeper relationship with him. I love Katie and all the daughters. David missed out.

Superb Interview with Sherry Williams Benedon

Carol does a high quality job interviewing with integrity. She leads with a few questions but let’s her guest share what they are comfortable with. I found Sherry to be a very genuine, honest and down to earth lady. Thoroughly enjoyed all that she shared. I was grateful she didn’t speak badly toward David. Most of us are aware of some of issues but I’m a huge fan of his music and acting. He’s brought me and so many others a lot of joy, happiness and entertainment! Having a turbulent childhood, David’s voice always seemed to bring me some kind of escape and joy. So as a fan I love hearing about him but let nothing take away from his extreme talent. I’m also a fan of Katie, too! She seems to have inherited some of David’s talent but has worked very hard to become as successful as she is. I’m thankful Sherry decided to do an interview about her relationship with David and I’m very grateful she had Carol Kaplan do it!
