147 episodes

After 25 years at the Late Night desk, Conan realized that the only people at his holiday party are the men and women who work for him.

Over the years and despite thousands of interviews, Conan has never made a real and lasting friendship with any of his celebrity guests. So, he started a podcast to do just that.

Deeper, unboundedly playful, and free from FCC regulations, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is a weekly opportunity for Conan to hang out with the people he enjoys most and perhaps find some real friendship along the way.

Conan rules

Maybe I can forget about the really bad stuff going on all the time! I think I must have forgotten how to laugh! Thank you for this Podcast!

Great podcast! Especially the Timothy Olyphant Episode

I always recommend this podcast to friends. I tell them to start with the Timothy Olyphant episode, as it is my favorite. Hearing Conan go back and forth with the handsome star of Justified shows you how funny this podcast can be. I am afraid if they hear that episode first they will be let down by the other episodes, but Shaq was pretty good too. I hope the charismatic winner of the ‘Best Bad Boy’ Young Hollywood Award comes back soon, or starts his own podcast on the TeamCoco network.

P.S. Have you considered renaming the show ‘Conan O’Brien Needs to Stop Pushing People Away with His Admittedly Hilarious Defense Mechanism of Insulting Nice Co-Workers in Order to Really Be Vulnerable in a Way That Attracts Friends’?

Belly laughs every time

I have been a Conan fan since the early 90's, but this podcast takes his talents to a new level. I love the riffing and the improv between Conan, Matt and Sona. Conan's silliness is the perfect antidote for the heaviness of the times we're going through. But it's not just a silly podcast--the interviews are top-notch, and I learn something new about the guests every time.
