After 25 years at the Late Night desk, Conan realized that the only people at his holiday party are the men and women who work for him. Over the years and despite thousands of interviews, Conan has never made a real and lasting friendship with any of his celebrity guests. So, he started a podcast to do just that. Deeper, unboundedly playful, and free from FCC regulations, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is a weekly opportunity for Conan to hang out with the people he enjoys most and perhaps find some real friendship along the way.

Customer Reviews
My favorite!
I love everything about this podcast. Conan is hilarious as always. But I think my favorite part is when Conan inevitably gets carried away and you hear Sona in the background with an, “Oooh.” It’s so simple, but I can picture it so well and it makes me laugh hysterically every time.
Since getting SiriusXM a few months ago, I can say with absolute certainty that channel 106 has been on 95% of the time.
Otherwise good podcast
Sona should be traded out for someone with comedy chops.
Neil Young
This podcast is missing the songs that you referenced that are the essence of the interview. At a minimum, consider snippets of the songs such as Terry Gross and similar podcasts. Also what about folks who have no streaming service - this seems to be overlooked by Conans introduction.
