Narativ Story Talks | Responsible Leadership with Earl Breon Narativ Leadership Story Talks

    • Business

In this episode, we welcome Earl Breon, a former active duty United States Marine with over 25 years of experience in coaching and leadership development. He is the CEO and Founder of The Leadership Phalanx where he combines his civilian and military experiences with his love of history to bring his clients what he calls, "The 11 Shields of The Leadership Phalanx".
These shields work together like the ancient Spartan formation to provide a strong leadership foundation that values diversity and inclusion as fundamental to building strong, successful, and innovative teams.

We discussed all aspects of what Earl calls responsible leadership, including biases, assumptions and the things that get in the way of our ability to be a leader that knows how to both nurture people and make tough decisions.

This conversation also went into experiences that shaped who Earl is today, and you'll hear a very moving story about the values that were instilled in Earl at a very young age by his grandparents because his parents were not around. That personal experience, plus the experience gained as a US marine and seeing both good and bad leadership at work, combine to give you, our listeners, a set of insights and principles that you'll be able to implement in your day to day life and work.

His podcast "Responsible leadership with Earl Breon" is a goldmine of advice and resources.
