Mountain Mishap or Murder? Aconcagua Provincial Park.

Fifty years ago, a group of eight American climbers set off to conquer the tallest mountain in South America - but only six returned. What happened on the mountain has been an enduring mystery, especially as the glacier began to reveals pieces of the puzzle decades later.

One of Seven. The Disappearance of Joe Halpern. Rocky Mountain

Hundreds of people go missing in US National Parks every year. While many of those cases eventually find resolve, some people, like Joe Halpern, remain missing as the seasons change and the decades pass. Despite the passing of time, loved ones never forget their people who wandered into the woods and were swallowed by the trees - and they’ll do everything it takes to find them.

The Disappearance of Everett Ruess ft. Locations Unknown

The Disappearance of Everett Ruess ft. Locations Unknown

Today we are joined by Mike and Joe, hosts of the Locations Unknown Podcast, as we dive into one of Utah's greatest enduring mysteries. Everett Ruess was a poet, artist, and writer who had dreams of leaving modern society behind to live in and explore the American West. When his family stopped receiving letters from him, and no one heard from or had contact with Everett for months - concern mounted. Search parties scoured high and low, but were left with more questions than answers after what they discovered in the process.

Nice voices and storytelling

Had to leave a review when my hubby overheard your podcast and mentioned that you are great storytellers. Keep it up. Thanks, Ladies!

This podcast keeps me going

My cousin introduced me to NPAD a few years ago during one of our camping trips. She is currently living in Utah, and I go to school in Tennessee. I pretty much just wait all year long for summer when I fly out to meet her for one of our NP road trips. NPAD, however, keeps us satisfied throughout the year until we are reunited. My cousin and I are always texting about the latest episode we have listened to, and we love listening to episodes specific to the parks we visit on our trips. Y’all are amazing storytellers.

Love the content, but have to unsubscribe

I used to love the podcast, and started listening again recently after visiting Yosemite, but I was a little surprised by the pro-Israel ad that played at the beginning of one of the most recent episodes. Over 30,000 people have died in Gaza, most of them civilians. I cannot support a podcast that plays propaganda ads, and will have to unsubscribe.
