"Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes"
For this week's main podcast review, I am joined by Josh Parham, Cody Dericks, Brendan Hodges, Tom O'Brien & Will Mavity. Today, we are reviewing the latest film from "The Maze Runner" director Wes Ball, "Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes," starring Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon & William H. Macy. Set many generations after the events of "War For The Planet Of The Apes," this new entry in the decades-spanning "Planet Of The Apes" franchise introduces us to new characters and continues the legacy of the critically acclaimed re-booted 2010's trilogy. What did we think of the performances, motion capture technology, story, score, and thrilling action? Please tune in as we discuss these points and more in our SPOILER-FILLED review. Thank you for listening, and enjoy!

Interview With "3 Body Problem" Actor Jovan Adepo
"3 Body Problem" is the new Netflix television series adaptation created by "Game Of Thrones" showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, along with Alexander Woo. Based on the Hugo Award-winning Chinese novel "The Three-Body Problem" by Liu Cixin, the show is a dense, ambitious, and highly impressive piece of sci-fi. Emmy Award nominee Jovan Adepo ("Watchmen"), who plays Dr. Saul Durand in the show, was kind enough to spend some time talking with us about working on the show, his character, his reaction to the response towards "Babylon," and more. Please be sure to check out the show, which is now available to stream on Netflix and is up for your consideration in all eligible Emmy categories. Thank you, and enjoy!

Our 2010 retrospective is continuing with Derek Cianfrance's devastating, emotional relationship drama, "Blue Valentine," starring Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling. A small indie film that garnered massive critical acclaim for its performances, naturalism captured by Cianfrance, and its brutal honesty, how does the film hold up today? Please tune in and listen to Ema Sasic, Nadia Dalimonte, Alyssa Christian, and me discuss our thoughts on the writing, performances, editing, direction, its awards season run, controversial initial NC-17 rating, and more in our SPOILER-FILLED review. Interview With "Loki" Actress Sophia Di Martino
"Loki" was a huge success for Marvel and Disney+ when it was released in 2021. Not many expected to get a second season since it was initially billed as a limited series. However, Season 2 was eventually announced, and with it came a whole new chapter in the character's journey. However, one of the newest characters introduced nearly stole the spotlight from everyone's favorite Asgardian god, and that was his variant, Sylvie, played by Sophia Di Martino. The English actress was kind enough to spend a few minutes with us discussing her role in season 2 and what she hopes for from the character in the future. Please be sure to check out the show, which is now available to stream on Disney+ and is up for your consideration in all eligible Emmy categories. Thank you, and enjoy!

Time stamps!!
Seriously, for the love of god. For as long as these podcasts are and all the topics y’all go over. PLEASE give us time stamps.
Almost
Good podcast, enjoy the discussions. But Dan bayer is insufferable. If they dropped him I would be a subscriber.
Mostly solid with one big exception
I mostly enjoy the podcast but I agree with others that Dan Bayer degrades the conversations he participates in. His giggling is over the top; he sounds like Cesar Romero’s Joker half the time, regardless of the conversation and he rarely offers anything constructive. More diversity of perspectives would really help this podcast and scope.
